Custom Furniture, Designed for Real Life

Oddly shaped rooms, open-concept layouts, sticky fingers and muddy paws—we get it. Your space isn’t one-size-fits-all, and your furniture shouldn’t be either.

At In Good Company, we specialize in custom furnishings tailored to your lifestyle, your aesthetic, and your home. Whether you need a sofa that finally fits or a standout piece that’s made to last (and made in the USA), we’ll guide you through every detail—from fabric selection to function and layout. The result? Furniture that feels like it was made just for you—because it was.

Custom Furniture, Made Local and Made to Last

At In Good Company in Oconomowoc, WI, we offer a local, personalized alternative to big-box furniture shopping. We specialize in high-quality, U.S.-made custom furnishings—crafted in places like Hickory, NC—that are built to suit your space, your style, and your lifestyle. Whether you're looking for a statement piece or something practical for everyday living, we work with you to design furniture that truly fits—right down to the fabric, finish, and configuration. With options available at a range of price points, you don’t have to settle for mass-produced pieces that almost work. Let’s create something that’s just right.

How to Customize & Order Furniture

Step 2: Prepare

Before we meet, take a few minutes to measure your space. Also, think about what you love (and don’t love) when it comes to furniture—and spend 5 minutes completing our furnishings questionnaire.

Step 4: Review and Order

We’ll send you a final quote including furniture cost, shipping & handling, white glove delivery details and the estimated lead time. Once you approve, we’ll place the order and send you an official confirmation.

Step 3: Meet with Our Team

Let’s bring your vision to life! You’ll collaborate with our design team to create your perfect piece. We’ll go through fabric samples, layout and configuration options as well as style details and finishing touches.
